EVENT DESCRIPTION:
A gathering in which gamers(devotees of computer games) will gather to share a local area network(LAN) and participate in extended gaming sessions of popular games such as Counter Strike and NFS.
GENERAL RULES:
These rules apply to everyone attending. They can be changed without notice.
1. You are responsible for your actions and equipment. We are not liable for anything that happens to you and your equipment’s.
2. Do not attempt to steal items from the event or anyone else. Legal consequences will be there.
3. Cheating will not be tolerated.
4. Do not bring any type of hacks/viruses/etc. to the event.
5. Listen to those who are incharge.
6. We reserve the right to remove anyone from premises for any reason we fit.
Need For Speed Most Wanted
Competition Rules:
Game Version: NFS Most Wanted 1.3 General Competition Method: 4 players Competition Structure
First day of the event: Preliminaries Second day: Main Tournament Rules for Preliminaries:
Game Type : Circuit , Sprint. The Circuit is for 2 rounds Players getting the 1st position will qualify for the next round.
Rules for the tournament:
1. The tournament will be knock out.
2. The player who wins their 1st stage match advances to the next stage.
3. There will not be any match played for the third position.
Game Settings:
1. Courses: Course selection is done by the Game Admininstrator
2. Car Settings: All cars are available.
3. Race Mode Options: Nitrous: On Collision Detection: oN
Performance Matching: Off Units: Player's own discretion
4. Players are provided with a standard keyboard and mouse. Other Controllers and Steering Wheel are allowed
Penalty for Unfair Play
• Unfair play
• Use of any cheat program
• Intentional disconnection
• Use of any settings exceeding standard and permitted settings
If the match is disrupted due to unnecessary chatting, the player may be given a warning or lose by default at the referee’s sole discretion.
Two warnings constitute being disqualified from the Tournament/Preliminaries.
COUNTER STRIKE (SOURCE)
RULES:
1. 1st round will be knife round.
2. For the knife round, map will be provided on the spot. The winner of the knife round will pick the side they want to play first(CT or T).
3. Matches will be played 4 on 4.
4. General rules settings:
• Starting Money:$16,000 Spectate is OFF,
• Fade to block is ON Map Time :3 minutes
• C4 Timer:45 seconds Freeze Time:5 seconds
• Buy Time:30 seconds Friendly Fire:OFF
5. Team messages are allowed.
6. If disconnection occurs during a match then scores till the last round will continue and starting money will be decided by the organizers.
7. Playing with fewer than 4 players in any match is permitted with captain’s agreement.
8. Use of particular console commands will be informed by the organizers on the day of tournament.
9. Players may bring their own mousepads & headphones.
Spell bee:
There will be three rounds .
Each round should be played individually.
Use of any Cheats , Mobiles , Dictionary is strictly restricted .if found ,Participant will be disqualified directly .
Round 1: Write it down
There will be total of 30 word which will be verbally announced by co-ordinator ,each participant will be given
5sec for each word to note it down .
For each right spelling a point will be given , next round contestant should be decided upon points.
Incase of draws timing will be noted min time contestant will be moved futher.
Round 2: Missing letters.( time limit 20 min)
20 incomplete words will be displayed on screen (for example . S_M_ _UNG = SAMSUNG).
Participants should guess & write correct spellings .
MAX TIME LIMIT – 20 MIN.
Round 3: Miss Placed words( time limit 30 min)
15 Miss placed words will be displayed on screen(for example . ISVINO = VISION) .
MAX TIME LIMIT 30 MINUTES.
Each participant will be provided a pc with turbo c compiler.
CO-ordinator will provide Questions , participants should type there codes on TC.
Participants Monitors will be switched off as time starts.
MAX TIME LIMIT – 45 min.
Winner will be decided depending on errors ,Incase of draws tie breaker round will be played .
